Birdeye Social allows you to monitor brand mentions & topics across channels including Twitter and Facebook.
To set up social listening, follow the steps below:
Step 1- Click on the ‘Social’ tab in the left navigation rail, and go to the ‘Listen’ tab.
Step 2- Click on the 'Add keywords' button.
Step 3- In the side drawer, add keywords and press enter to include keywords you would want to enable social listening for. Click on ‘Add’ to save the added keywords.
Step 4- On setting up social listening, your listen screen will be populated with the relevant mentions of the included keywords. Click on ‘Filters’ to filter out the feed based on filters.
There are three types of 'Filters' which can be used under 'Social Listening':
Social Source: The platforms from where you want to pull in mentions from.
Time Period: The time range for which you want to see the mentions.
Keywords: Your custom-defined keywords which you would want to see in your mentions.
Filter out the time period and social source from the drop-down menu. Click on ‘Edit Keywords’ to edit the keywords. Click on ‘Apply’ to save changes.
On clicking on ‘Edit Keywords,’ you will be able to include and exclude keywords from the side drawer. Click on ‘Save’ to save the changes.
Step 5- Choose to sort the stream by Recent/Oldest mentions, Highest/Lowest influencers.
Step 6- Choose the layout of the stream from the drop-down by choosing between Compact, Standard, and Comfortable.
