Birdeye allows you to respond to comments and mentions from one place. Engage with your Audience by participating in relevant discussions, commenting, reacting, and responding to DM’s to build stronger relationships with Birdeye Social.

To set up social engagement, follow the steps below:
Step 1- Click on the ‘Social’ tab, and go to the ‘Engage’ tab.
Step 2- Click on the 'Add your first Stream' button.
Step 3- In the side drawer, choose the location, social channel, and stream type from the drop-down and click on ‘Add’ to add the stream to your screen.
You can choose from Home, My posts, Ad comments and Post comments in the stream-type menu for Facebook and Timeline, My tweets and mentions in the case of Twitter.
You will be notified that the stream has been successfully added.
Step 4- Click on ‘Add another Stream’ to add another stream. Follow Step 3 to add a stream.
Step 5- Choose the layout of the stream from the drop-down by choosing between Compact, Standard, and Comfortable.
Step 6- Filter out your stream based on the Time period from the ‘Filters’ button. Further, click on ‘Apply’ to apply the selected filters.
Step 7- Click on the ‘three dots’ on the top right of the stream. Choose ‘Text + Media’ if you wish to see text and media in the social posts; ‘Text Only’ in case you wish only to see the text of the posts, ‘Refresh Stream’ to refresh the stream; and ‘Delete’ to delete the stream from your screen.
If you’re viewing ‘My Posts’ or ‘Home’ stream,
Click on the ‘three dots’ on the top right of the post. Choose ‘Edit post’ to edit the post, ‘Copy post URL’ to copy the link to the post, and ‘Delete’ to delete the post from your channel.
You can Like and Comment on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Comment, Retweet, Quote tweet, and Like in the case of Twitter.
If you are viewing the ‘Ad Comments’ stream,
You’ll be able to view all the comments on the ad running; if you click on ‘View Thread,’ you’ll be able to view the entire thread with your ad post and all the corresponding comments. Likewise, for the 'Post Comments' stream, you'll be able to view all the comments on your posts.
You can like the post, comment on it, and also reply to comments received.
Hit the ‘Like’ button to like and the ‘Reply’ button to reply to a comment.
You can attach an image to a comment and emojis using the ‘paper clip’ button and ‘emoji’ icon in the comment box.
Click the ‘three dots’ on the top right corner of a comment and click ‘Delete’ to delete the comment.
On successfully replying to a comment, you not only get a notification saying ‘You commented on the ad’ but also get a ‘Replied’ mark on that comment notifying that you have replied to the comment.
NOTE
When the page is disconnected, data/comments cannot be fetched. Once the connection is restored, data can be fetched from that time onwards. Any data/comments posted during the disconnected period will be lost.
