How to Embed Reviews on a Business Website Using the Birdeye API

To get reviews from an API, you need to use the unique API key and Business ID for your business.

To find your Business ID and API Key within the dashboard.

  1. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab.

  2. Go to 'Integrations' and click on the ‘API’ option.

  3. On the new page, you can find both your ‘Business ID’ and the unique ‘API Key.’

  4. Navigate to developers.birdeye.com, once you have your Business ID and API Key.

  5. Click on the ‘Reviews’ tab.

  6. Click on the ‘Get’ tab under the ‘Reviews’ section.

  7. On this page, you will find the API to implement reviews on your website under the ‘Example curl request’ heading.

  8. From the API link, replace the existing Business ID and API Key with your original credentials.

  9. Use this API to embed reviews on your website with the help of your IT support person. Alternatively, you can also reach out to the customer support team at Birdeye to complete the implementation process.

NOTE:

  1. In case you do not see the ‘Developers’ tab on the ‘Account’ page, reach out to the Birdeye customer support team.

  2. In case you would want Birdeye to complete this integration for you, you will be asked to share the login credentials of your website with the Birdeye engineer. The Birdeye engineer will use your admin access to complete the integration process. Once the process is complete, the business will be asked to review the changes before they are made live.
