How do I set up Google Search Console

To begin, go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/ and sign in using your Google account.

Once you have signed in, you will now need to add the site URL for your property. After you have added the URL, click on the 'ADD PROPERTY' button.

NOTE:

Do ensure the added URL is correct and the exact address is entered.

Google will now check the URL and automatically provide a 'Recommended verification method' and couple of other 'Other verification methods' to authenticate if the property belongs to you. Select the method to verify the ownership and click on the 'DONE' button on the bottom right.
