How can I uninstall the package from my Salesforce instance?

Birdeye allows you to uninstall the package from Salesforce.

UNINSTALL PACKAGE

  1. Click on the ‘Setup’ in the top right corner.

  2. Search ‘Installed Packages’ in the search bar and click on it.

  3. A new screen will appear, scroll down to the ‘BirdeyeCheckinApplication’ and click on the ‘Uninstall’ button.

  4. On the new screen, scroll down and check the box to give permission. Click on the ‘Uninstall’ button.

  5. After clicking on the uninstall option, you will view the dependency on the screen i.e. ‘Unable to uninstall package.’

NOTE:

If you will view this error, you have to enable remove the dependency.

IMPORTANT:

Once you remove the dependency successfully, you will be able to uninstall the package from Salesforce by following steps 5, 6 and 7.

TO REMOVE DEPENDENCY

  1. Click on the ‘Setup’ icon and search for the custom settings in the search bar and select ‘Custom Settings.’

  2. Scroll down and click on the ‘Manage’ option besides ‘Checkin Config.’

  3. Click on ‘Show Uninstall Button.’

  4. Check in the box for ‘Show Uninstall Dependency.’

  5. Click on the ‘Nine-dot’ icon on the top left and select ‘Account Settings.’

  6. Click on the ‘Remove Uninstall Dependency.’

  7. A pop-up window will appear on the screen, click on the ‘Remove Dependency.’


NOTE:

It will take a few minutes and once the dependency will successfully remove, a notification will appear on the screen.
