What privileges do different types of users have within the Birdeye platform?

Explore user privileges in the Birdeye platform—what roles can view, edit, or manage different modules.

You need to be a registered user in order to access your Birdeye account. Your user access can be of three types depending on your job profile and access privileges granted to you by the owner of the account.

TYPES OF USERS:

Owner: Has unrestricted access to the entire portal. The owner is typically the business owner in an SMB setting or a departmental head in enterprise businesses.

Administrator (Admin): An administrator cannot add or remove an owner from the account, nor can he/she access the billing section of the portal. Other than that, he can do all other activities within the account. An administrator is typically someone who takes care of day to day tasks within the Birdeye platform

Guest: A guest is someone who has 'read-only' privileges on the platform. Typically, someone, you wish to grant 'observation' rights only. This person will not be able to make any changes to the platform.

For example, a guest can not update review ‘goal’ or ‘disable’ listings but will be able to search within reviews or even download an Excel with data on his/her computer from the Birdeye dashboard. A 'Guest' user will not have access to the 'Settings' tab. A summer intern in a marketing department would be a good example of a 'Guest' user.

For detailed instructions on how you can add users to your account refer to this help center article: How do I add new users to the Birdeye dashboard?
